~SUMMER/09 - 4 teams of fun with league theme of NHL name spoofs!
~Congratulations to Sabrina's "DALLAS BARS" Summer/09 Season Champs!
~Championship Game MVP was Jennifer Cole (Goalie) with a shut out.
~League MIP (Most Improved Player) was Karen Flerchinger & voted on by
Team captains.
~Bad Girl Box Gloves went to Lora Ardoin.
~This season we changed the course of statistics awarding skaters 2
points for an ASSIST and 1 point for a GOAL!
~Honorable mention this season goes to Dallas Swafford with an
outstanding 24 points worth of assists & 5 goals in 12 week season!

BEFORE 1ST GAME USA Hockey: All skaters must be registered before they can step on the ice. This list is recorded at rink after players follow these simple steps:
Go to USA Hockey membership www.usahockey.com. Complete the on line form & pay. They will electronically email you your USA membership number & explanation about your supplemental insurance you get. You then forward your USA number to the rink (by copy/pasting information) to: register@bahha.org

ABOUT THE BAR..... For those over 21!
Our GM has asked to pass along that the bar now has individual wine
bottles. Margaritas will be available on rocks. The word is that we will
have a Margarita machine soon that they are awaiting a part!

HWHL - ABOUT US.....
The Houston Women's Hockey League plays every Tuesday night at Space City Ice Station located at 18150 Gulf Freeway in Friendswood, Texas. CALL rink to register 281-486-7979. Our League welcomes all levels of players including beginners ages 14 years & up. We are compromised of very novice to upper level skaters & goalies. We have team captains & draft for even teams. Team & Players statistics. supply
a team jersey Free pitcher of beer (soda for minors) for winning team each week upstairs in the bar area.
We are a FUN League with a competitive edge!
